Le Fonds des Bourses Briye constitue la premi\u00e8re initiative publique de Briye Inc. Il soutient les \u00e9tudiants ha\u00eftiens \u00e0 haut potentiel et en situation de pr\u00e9carit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re, au moment o\u00f9 ils entament ou poursuivent leur parcours universitaire. Ce fonds est con\u00e7u pour lever les obstacles imm\u00e9diats \u00e0 l'\u00e9ducation, tout en favorisant la discipline, la r\u00e9flexion, le mentorat et la contribution \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A scholarship initiative for promising Haitian students The fund supports high-potential Haitian students with financial need, leadership potential, and a commitment to community impact. See the Program Description 01. Program description What the fund does \u2014 and doesn’t. The Briye Scholars Fund is the first public initiative of Briye Inc. It supports high-potential Haitian students with financial need as they begin or continue their university journey. The fund is designed to reduce immediate educational barriers while encouraging discipline, reflection, mentorship, and community contribution. Each Briye Scholar is selected through a transparent process. The goal is not only to help students pay for school, but to invest in young people capable of building trust, opportunity, and public value. 02. Pilot design How the first cohort is structured. AWARD One-year, renewable Renewable when funds are available and renewal criteria are met. COVERS Education costs Tuition, books, transport, technology, exam fees, and scholar’s stipend. Formation The Briye Letter Light mentorship, periodic check-ins, and an annual written reflection. Impact Community contribution Scholars reflect on how their education serves family, community, or broader community value.  Cohort size 10 scholars The Briye Cohort of Excellence for the 2026 – 2027 academic year. 03. Eligibility Who can apply Eligibility is set deliberately to reach students who would benefit most while keeping the process fair and accessible. \u2022 Applicant is a Haitian student residing in Haiti or completing secondary studies in Haiti. \u2022 Applicant is entering university or seeking support for the first year of a recognized undergraduate or equivalent higher-education program. \u2022 Applicant demonstrates financial need that may prevent or delay university enrollment or continuation. \u2022 Applicant shows academic promise through school records, exam results, recommendations, or other evidence of seriousness and capacity. \u2022 Applicant demonstrates personal discipline, leadership potential, and a commitment to community impact. \u2022 Applicant is not an immediate family member of Briye board members, selection committee members, or staff involved in the scholarship decision. 04. Can I apply without an admission letter? Yes, if you are awaiting admission results. You may submit proof of application and update Briye later if admitted. What expenses can the scholarship cover? The scholarship may support tuition, registration, books, transportation, technology, exam fees, and other verified education-related costs. Will a video be required? Applicants may submit a short video or a written response. Video quality is not judged; clarity and sincerity matter more than production. Will scholars be publicized? Only with written consent.
